In Reception we love learning about dinosaurs. Click the links below to listen to some of our favourite stories.
Try cutting out some of your own dinosaur feet and measuring them using objects from your house. How many pasta shapes long is it? How many lego bricks long is it? Which dinosaur does it belong to?
Create your own dinosaur pictures and pants for them to wear like in the story Dinosaurs love Underpants. What pattern will your pants have?
We love dancing to the dinosaur stomp in Reception. Click the link below and try and join in.
Try doing some dinosaur shadow pictures. Place a dinosaur or another toy in front of the light and draw around the shadow. Could you label some of your dinosaur or draw a speech bubble to show the noise it would make?
Practice making some of the letters you have been learning at school. Can you make the letters with stones in the dirt? Try making s, a, t, p, i or n?
Make some of your own dinosaur bones using play or salt dough. Can you match them to the right dinosaur?
Using different materials in your home, try creating some dinosaur skeletons.
